The Joys of Mommy

I have five precious daughters, and I want to share my joys with you.

Joy is to behold God in everything.

Oh Happy Day!

As Eric carried it into the house, Lydda watched in excited anticipation.  She then dove right in and started playing.  She pretended to wash her hands and was very interested in the back corner of the oven.  She will have lots of fun with her new kitchen.  Thank you Bella for giving it to her.

Mommy's Little Helper

I was getting ready for a Thirty-One open house and Lydda was soooo helpful.  She was so proud of her paper towel skills.

Producers

Did you know we were gardeners?  Eric planted California Giant bell peppers this year..... and you also see why I don't want to do a garden next year.

Going, Going, Gone

We went to Jake and Bella's birthday party.  Lydda was very brave.  She loved the big slide the most.

Hattie was Swallowed!

The ball was really hungry for a 6 year old that was not too sweet and not too sour. She was just right.

My Phone was Missing!

Hattie stole my phone again and took many pictures.  It was these two pictures over and over again.

Sleeping Beauty

Thank goodness we had a cool front going through on this day (85 degrees).  She wouldn't go to sleep without "Wubbie," and it was an outside function.  That blanket warms us both up.

A Little Nature

This slithery visitor freaked me out.  Eric took care of it.  He thought it was either a water snake or a water moccassin.  Hmmm, that is the difference between, "Is the dog sleeping or dying?"  Sheldon was fine.

Busted!

The girls were playing in my classroom.  They were given one rule.  "Do not walk or get on top of the furniture."  Hattie has a tendency to avoid the floor and walk over things to get from point A to point B.  I peeked into my classroom to check on them.
They were on top of the counter looking out the window.  I called over the other teachers to look at them.  By the time I snapped the picture, Emogene turned around.  Their excuse, "We heard loud noises outside and saw some men working.  We thought they were going to blow up the building."  Their imagination was in hyperdrive.
