Emogene and Hattie are going to Paris!!!!! They are so excited. This week has been a flurry of planning. They have started budgeting $1000 for food expenses, $1000 for hotels, and $1500 for a plane ticket. They may even get Lydda a Parisian gift.
Based on the amount of allowance they get each week and we will say they will make a little bit more doing extra things, for example, Emogene tutors once a week and Hattie is starting a raking business, she has one client (Nannie), they will be going to Paris in 2035. Yippee! I am going to miss them. They have already gotten excited over the amount of savings in their Paris accounts ($8 and $15).
They are beginning to learn French and Eric is cooking Boeuf Bourguignon for supper tonight. We want to make sure they are prepared.
I am very proud of them for choosing such a grand vacation and have LOVED hearing about all of their plans. I will continue to nurture and encourage their dream.
