I have five precious daughters, and I want to share my joys with you.

Joy is to behold God in everything.

Two out of Four

Well I made it through the first two girls with no self inflicted hair cuts.  Lydda was my first.  Then the other day I found this in Millie's room.  It sure does match her hair color.  She let me know that Dawson cut her hair.  He was a bit obsessed with telling me he was going to cut his hair and his moms hair and his PJ Mask's hair.  I had to get on to Lydda because I have repeatedly told her NO SCISSORS in their room.  He managed to unearth some while playing.  He told me that I was the one that did it.   He wasn't happy with Millie for telling on him.  I can't even tell where he cut it.

Busy Days

We all have things we are doing.

Emogene and Hattie are busy with the band many days of the week.  There friend Seth is always around making them laugh.

Millie is learning lots, and she and Lydda are always ready to help Eric in the yard.

Lydda loves doing flips and showing us all her tricks.  She also has started enjoying reading more and spends less time watching tv and more time reading.  Lately she has been singing a lot in preparation for her talented music audition at school.  Please pray for her to do her very best.

School Days

Millie and I do small lessons to help her learn her letters.  Kindergarten will be here soon.  Some letters she remembers easily but some give her problems.  The other day, Millie and Emogene were visiting and Millie noticed that Em had been upset.
She said, "Emma, what's wrong?"
Emogene replied, "Just some school stuff I'm having trouble understanding."
Millie looked at her and took a moment and then said, "Is it D?  I have trouble with that one.  I like A.  D is Dawson's letter."

So adorable.
