Because You Were

I became 1 in 4 on 11/18/18.
Our family was gifted a little surprise that God let me carry for 11 weeks and 5 days.
We were so excited.  We don't know why our little one wasn't meant to stay with us, but we sure loved him.  We do not know if our baby was a boy or a girl, but we have chosen to refer to him as a boy.

Our baby's name was Peanut Milk.  Millie contributed the Milk part.  I was super tired and wanted to take many naps a day for those few weeks.  Lydda would order me to bed to take a nap and kept reminding me that I needed to eat healthy.
We got to see him one time when I was 9 weeks.  We saw that little heart beating and couldn't wait to share the news with our four girls.
Eric and I researched grief and miscarriage and decided to cremate our baby.  His ashes are in a teddy bear along with notes from his sisters.  Anna's Grace Foundation offered to pay for the entire cost and we are forever grateful.  If you ever feel like giving, please consider Anna's Grace (annasgrace.org).
