Party in a Tube!

I had a parent bring tubes full of gumballs for her son's birthday.  I was quick to say, "I want those tubes!"  She was so sweet and poured out the rest of them and gave me the rest.  I GOT 14!

I had no idea what I wanted to do with them, but I knew I wanted to mail them.
This week, I came up with an idea.  I have a niece and two nephews that live a few hours away.  We don't get to attend their birthday parties, so I thought it would be fun to ship them a "Party in a Tube."

 Here are my awesome tubes!

I made each of them one even though the boys' birthday (twins) was back in the summer.
What is inside you ask?  Well, we have confetti at the bottom, a balloon with a little surprise inside, a jolly rancher, some fun curly ribbon, a strip of smiley face stickers, and two pencil top erasers.
I stuck mailing labels right onto the tube, and It only cost $6.21 to mail all three.
I'm praying they make it in one piece.  The mail clerk was very shocked that I wanted to mail them as is, and she had a very hard time finding spots to stick the mailing bar codes.  I will be calling my sister tomorrow and Friday to check to see if they made it in one piece.

License Weight

I've been working to lose weight since August .  I thought it would be great to weigh the weight on my license.  I like to think that most people lie on that part, and you know when you go to renew it the lady says, "Is there ANYTHING you would like to change?"  You know what she is talking about.  Well, I always say, "No, I don't think so."  It would be super if I could say, "Yes, and change it less by one pound."  Well come to find out, my license weight is TEN POUNDS LESS than what I thought.  Even at the age of 17, I must have been completely insane.  I thought I was 8 pounds from my license weight, but NOOOO, I'm 18 pounds from it!  I don't think I can do it without an IV.  I will keep trying, even if it is for one day.  Then, I can eat again.  I'm happy the way I am right now, but being 10 pounds from my license weight wouldn't be so bad either.

Loving It!

I had little crocheted head wraps made for the girls for winter time.  I loved them so much that I kept wearing theirs.  I finally ordered one for myself.  I love it.  I found a local lady that makes them.  The sparkle is a button that belonged to my great aunt.  If you want to check out her stuff, you can find her on faceb*ok under LoveStruckCrochet.  Her name is April.

I won a makeover from a Salon and Spa.  It was a great birthday gift to me.
I have so far lost 22 pounds, and I'm still trying.
I must say, it feels really weird posting something about myself, so I'm done.
